Hakkinen stays in DTM

Mika HakkinenF1’s world champion of 1998 and 1999 has inked a new contract to race for Mercedes-Benz in the DTM series this year.

Mika Hakkinen, 38, first appeared on the German touring car grid in 2005, after retiring as a grand prix driver for McLaren in 2001.

The Finn finished on the podium three times in 2006.
